Legislative Action Team for Children & Families
About the Legislative Action Team for Children and Families
The Legislative Action Team includes the state’s leading organizations working on behalf of children and families. We work to advance family-friendly public policy by mobilizing support for issues that improve the lives of children in West Virginia. The Legislative Action Team actively monitors pending legislation affecting children and families and advocates for those policies and legislative proposals that benefit children. The Legislative Action Team meets on a weekly basis every Monday during the WV Legislative Session.
The #1 Question: Is it good for children?
We ask lawmakers to consider one question as they consider legislation – “Is it good for children?”
