Volunteer

We could use your help! Join the TEAM for West Virginia Children as a volunteer. Below are several volunteer opportunities with the TEAM.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)

CASA volunteers are appointed by one of the Circuit Court judges in Boone, Cabell, Calhoun, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Mason, Putnam, Roane, and Wayne counties to advocate for the best interest of an abused child in the court system. CASA volunteers must make a one-year commitment, successfully pass screening and background checks, and complete 35 hours of local training. CASA volunteers gather information and make recommendations to the court. If you are interested in becoming an advocate, call (304) 523-9587 ext. 307 or click here.
